Great app - "QuickSoundSwitch"
Just 1 thing though , in XP , why is my volume on my usb headphones always muted every time I power up ?
Anybody else heard of this ?

Thanks

Hi Micko,
open the QuickSoundSwitch Settings - dialogand and select your Headphones in the pulldown menu.
Now check "set volume on startup" checkbox and press the speaker button.
You should get the mixer dialog, which you can use to edit the startup volume.

Maybe this will fix your mute problems..

Regards
Flo

- No luck . changed settings as u suggested, but everytime I start the program, it makes the usb headset go to mute
I have no idea why

this happens because the soundcard switch using the QSS, is only effecting programs which get started after that.
Because the keyboard - program (driver?) is loaded on Windows startup, its just using the startup default soundcard (soundcard 1) and is not getting effected by a Soudswitch.
You may have to restart the Keyboard program (if you have something like this in the System-Tray) :-/

Is it possible to create a shortcut that shuts the machine down immediately with no wait?

Thank you
Dan

To shutdown immediately use the command parameter C S (classic mode + Sutdown) or the Shortcut Assistent Classic Mode + Windows Shutdown.

Thanks for the TCStarter program, keep up the good work, I was looking for a solution to run totalcmd on a flash drive and your program is perfect for it.

Microsoft kann von dir was lernen!

Weiter so!

Hello. I have found a mistake in Vista Shutdown Timer. It consists in the following. When I start the timer on 2 and I press the button of switching time is switched not correctly. I.e. in minutes 120 minutes show, at switching at o clock, shows 1:00.Thank you Denion,
thats totally right and a bug!
I will fix it with the next release (prob. this week).

I ve been told that separating my Sigmatel sound card and Logitech USB headset channels when it came to my music and games was not possible.

After frustrated searching and trial and error, I stumbled on your website, its freeware to boot!

Now I ll be able to play my Pandora music online on one channel and my Counter-Strike on my headset.

Windows should have something like this as a built in feature...

Nice utility QuickSoundSwitch !!! Unfortunatelly I could t make it work on Vista. Is it my fault ? Are you planning a Vista-compatible update ? Regards !! AlbertoHi Alberto,
the sound-system of Vista is different from 9x/2000/XP .. So I have to change some stuff before it will work there.
I hope I will make it work till the next release!
